Varun Tej’s upcoming horror-comedy “Korean Kanakaraju” is gearing up for its theatrical release on August 7. Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and produced by UV Creations in association with First Frame Entertainment, the film is intensifying promotions.
The makers have now released the film’s second single, Raasa Gummadi, a lively folk dance number that offers a complete contrast to the Korea-inspired first song.
Composed by S Thaman, Raasa Gummadi is rooted in Telugu folk music, blending energetic rhythms, traditional instruments, and festive beats.
Nalgonda Gaddar’s spirited rendition and Kasarla Shyam’s catchy lyrics give the number an authentic rustic flavour. Varun Tej appears in a traditional yet stylish avatar and delivers energetic dance moves that complement the song’s festive mood.
The colourful carnival-themed visuals add to the song’s appeal, while Daksha Nagarkar grabs attention with her glamorous presence and lively performance. The chemistry between Varun Tej and Daksha is another highlight.
Ritika Nayak plays the female lead in the film.
