While Deepika Padukone has not directly addressed the controversy surrounding the film “Spirit” or director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s recent tweet, her latest interview is being interpreted as a subtle response to the situation.
In a conversation with Vogue Arabia, Deepika Padukone opened up about the principles that guide her decisions. She emphasized the importance of authenticity and inner clarity, especially during challenging moments.
“What keeps me balanced is just being truthful, authentic. Whenever I’m faced with complicated or difficult situations, being able to listen to my inner voice and stand by decisions that give me peace—that’s when I feel most in equilibrium,” she said.
Padukone was initially attached to star in “Spirit”, but later parted ways with the project following a fallout with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
While sources from Vanga’s team claimed the actress made “unacceptable demands,” insiders close to Padukone suggested that her concerns stemmed from the film’s “A-rated” content.
