Looks like Tamil actor Dhanush has big plans to strengthen his Telugu market. Dhanush has signed his first straight Telugu film in the direction of Sekhar Kammula. The film will hit the floors in December this year.
Meanwhile, he has signed another Telugu film. This new film will also be made as a Tamil- Telugu bilingual. He is currently shooting for his Tamil film (#D43) in Hyderabad, and producer Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments had a meeting with him. Sources reveal that Dhanush had taken a fat advance amount from Sithara Entertainments. Dhanush will act in the direction of Venky Atluri (‘Tholi Prema’, ‘Mr.Majnu’, and ‘Rang De’) for the Sithara banner.
Dhanush will announce the film shortly.
The versatile actor with award-winning performances is a favorite for many filmmakers. Dhanush has already done Bollywood movies and is currently acting in a Hollywood film. He is now focussing on Telugu films as well.
