Exclusive: Chiranjeevi green-lights two new movies

Clarity is emerging about Chiranjeevi’s new movies. Not happy with the slow process of his current project ‘Acharya’, Megastar called up several young directors to prepare scripts for him and he has finalized two from them. According to our sources, he has green-lighted two movies, both will be helmed by the directors who had not worked with him before.

Lucifer Remake

The first film will be the remake of Malayalam blockbuster ‘Lucifer’, which will be mostly be directed by Sujith of ‘Saaho’. Chiranjeevi asked Sujith to come up with his version of treatment to the script of ‘Lucifer’. The basic outline with changes made for the Telugu version was prepared by Sukumar and other writers. Now, Sujith is working on the treatment of the script. Once Megastar likes it, he will go ahead with Sujith. It will be produced by Konidela Productions. UV Creations may join as co-producer.

A new film with Bobby

KS Ravindra aka Bobby recently narrated a story to Megastar Chiranjeevi which the star liked immensely and asked him to work on it. This may also hit the floors later this year or early next year. Bobby is known as a director who packages with typical commercial ingredients decently. His NTR starrer ‘Jai Lava Kusa’, and Venky and Naga Chaitanya starrer ‘Venky Mama’ were decent hits.
