Fresh speculations on Nani's V

The corona positive cases are going up in Hyderabad. The situation has worsened further so much so that the government is now contemplating to impose lockdown in the city again.

This gives us a fair picture of the future of the movie business. Theaters will remain shut till September or October. So, the question is will Nani’s ‘V’, which was to hit the screens on March 25, will wait for another four or five months to have a theatrical release?

Will it be pushed to 2021 or will they dare release on OTT directly?

Biggies like Akshay Kumar’s ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ and Vishal’s ‘Chakra’ will have a direct digital release. When such biggies are opting for OTT, it has made our producers rethink their release strategy.

Producer Dil Raju and hero Nani should take a call on this as the film has lost all the buzz it had generated in March. But our sources say Dil Raju and Nani are particular about the theatrical release. They will wait for the situation to become normal. 

‘V’ stars Nani and Sudheer Babu as the lead stars while Nivetha Thomas and Aditi Rao are the female lead. Directed by Indraganti, ‘V’ is a thriller.
