“Gangs of Godavari” starring Vishwak Sen will be released in theaters on May 31. Prior to the release, Vishwak Sen and producer S Naga Vamsi spoke with the media.

Vishwak Sen stated that “Gangs of Godavari” contains no vulgarity or cringe moments.

Vishwak Sen highlighted one sequence in particular, stating that ‘Gangs of Godavari’ has a fight sequence before intermission that is devoid of slow motion and background music. “It’s a risk but filmmaking is evolving with time and we must respect that,” he stated.

“I don’t want to be known as a Telangana actor solely. In this film, I got the Godavari accent correct, and no one will question my slang or dialogue delivery,” Vishwak Sen added.

Naga Vamsi responded to many complaints about cuss words in the trailer. “If people are finding a few moments in the trailer too direct, they need to understand the rags-to-riches story revolves around the highs and lows in the life of a slum dweller and the tone is decided by his character,” Naga Vamsi said.

The producer also stated that “Gangs of Godavari” is Vishwak Sen’s best performance to date.

Krishna Chaitanya directed the film, which stars Neha Sshetty and Anjali as the female leads.
