“GOAT†(The Greatest of All Time), starring Thalapathy Vijay, received total negative comments from the Telugu audiences. The film garnered little attention before its release, and the producers did not bother to promote it.
Post-release, reviews, and word of mouth all had a significant impact. Although the film grossed approximately Rs. 5 crores in two days, its trending is relatively poor. “GOAT†is likely to become a big flop in Telugu states.
The film is performing well both in its home state of Tamil Nadu and overseas. While Vijay’s previous films, including “Adirindi,†“Master,†“Varasudu,†and “Leo,†garnered significant revenue in Telugu states, this is going to be his lowest grossing movie here.
Outside of the Tamil market, director Venkat Prabhu is not well-known. As a result, his films only do well in Tamil. Vijay played both a father and a son in “GOAT.†It also included cameos from Trisha and Sivakarthikeyan.
