“Ramabanam” is a complete action-packed family entertainer with a subtle yet effective message, according to Gopichand. In the film, he played the main character, while Jagapathi Babu played his elder brother. He spoke extensively about the film, which is set to be released tomorrow (May 5).
“Ramabanam tells the story of two brothers who share common goals but take different approaches to achieving them,” Gopichand said. “The goal of our film is to raise social awareness and inspire change. We tried something new by combining family drama and action in an unusual way. We are confident that the film will be enjoyed by our audience.”
But people have stopped watching mass masala movies. Will this film get openings? “Regardless of the audience’s changing preferences, the emotions of love for a mother or a brother will remain constant. Our film, Ramabanam, is built around brother emotions. Once the word of mouth spreads, people will flock to the theaters,” he reasoned.
Gopichand has previously played villains in films such as Prabhas’ “Varsham” and “Jayam.” He has, however, stopped playing such roles.
“I’m willing to play a villain again,” he mentioned. “However, I’d prefer if the role was as strong and impactful as the ones I played in my early days in the industry,” he said.
