I am not part of Mega158, clarifies Malavika Mohanan

Amidst widespread media and social media buzz that Malavika Mohanan has signed Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film #Mega158, the actress has come forward to set the record straight. Taking to social media, she denied being part of the project.

The film (#Mega158) marks the second collaboration between Chiranjeevi and director Bobby (K. S. Ravindra) after the blockbuster “Waltair Veerayya.” The project, said to feature two female leads, has been the subject of casting speculations in recent weeks. With several reports claiming that Malavika Mohanan was one of the heroines, she denied the news.

Clarifying the rumours, Malavika wrote, “Hi guys, so there are a lot of reports circulating online that I’m a part of Mega 158 helmed by Bobby sir. While I would love to share the screen with the iconic Chiranjeevi sir at some point in my career, I just wanted to clarify that I’m not a part of this project and the reports are false.”

Malavika Mohanan is currently working on “The Raja Saab”, starring Prabhas, which is set for release on January 9, 2025.

The actress is eagerly awaiting the release of her Telugu debut. Megastar Chiranjeevi, at 70, continues to headline major projects with youthful energy and mass appeal.
