Vijay Deverakonda has made a controversial remark about politics. In a recent interview with a YouTube channel, the handsome actor said that he prefers to be a dictator if he gets elected to rule.
When asked whether he would join active politics, Vijay Deverakonda gave a reply elaborately.
“I don’t think everyone should be allowed to vote. The voters don’t even know who they are voting for. I won’t stand in elections if they are voting for alcohol and money,” he opined.
“I would like to be a dictator if at all. That is the way to make a change. A dictator with good intentions,” he said.
He also said that he likes Mahesh Babu starrer ‘Pokiri’ very much. “Among Puri Jagannadh directed movies, Pokiri remains favorite,” he said.
Vijay Deverakonda is currently working in Puri Jagannadh’s direction. The film’s shoot has been stalled due to COVID19. He says he is working on his physique to look like a fighter. He also stated that Puri presenting him as a masala hero. “It is a purely commercial film but it will be my kind of commercial cinema,” he said.
