The first-day collections for “Devara” in Hindi were modest. The film collected about Rs 7 crore nett on day 1. While this opening is paltry compared to what a Prabhas movie receives in North India, it should not be dismissed as a low opening.
Since this is NTR’s first solo film in the Hindi market, this opening is respectable. Given the presence of Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in the film, it should have garnered more success. However, the songs from the film did not become viral in North India. Hence, it got a modest opening.
NTR is currently acting in his first Bollywood movie, War 2. The film also features Hrithik Roshan as the main hero. Therefore, the release of “War 2” will enhance NTR’s market share.
In the coming days, we will see how “Devara” performs in the Hindi market.
