Is Anushka’s film the same as Swathimuthyam’s story?

‘Swathimuthyam’ featuring Bellamkonda Ganesh and Varsha Bollamma came out in the theaters on the eve of the Dasara festival. The film won good reviews. ‘Swathimuthyam’ talked about sperm donation and surrogacy.

Soon after the release of this film, the talk in the Telugu film industry is that Anushka’s upcoming film would land trouble. The buzz is that the story of Anushka and Naveen Polishetty’s film is similar to “Swathimuthyam”.

Naveen Polishetty plays a role that is similar to Ganesh’s and Anushka’s role is on the lines of Divya Sripada. There is also a Dubai connection in both movies, the buzz says.

If the reports are to be believed, Anushka and Naveen Polishetty’s film will have to do major changes to the story now.

We have recently seen Nani’s ‘Ante Sundaraniki’ and Naga Shaurya starrer ‘Krishna Vrind Vihari’ dealing with the same story. Both Nani and Naga Shaurya played the roles of Brahmin boys and their lovers suffering from a rare disease.
