It’s official: ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ arrives on March 19

The makers of “Ustaad Bhagat” Singh have advanced the film’s release date. As reported earlier, the film will now arrive in theatres a week earlier than previously planned.

The team has officially announced March 19 as the new release date. At a time when several films are getting postponed, “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” has instead moved forward.

The change comes after the exit of “Toxic” from the same window, opening up a festive slot. With both Ugadi and Ramzan falling around that weekend, the makers are expecting a strong opening at the box office.

The film marks the blockbuster reunion of Pawan Kalyan and Harish Shankar, who previously created box-office history with “Gabbar Singh.” The duo is now aiming to recreate the same magic with this mass entertainer.

While Devi Sri Prasad has composed the songs, S. Thaman has been brought on board to handle the background score. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film features Raashii Khanna and Sreeleela as the female leads, with Pawan Kalyan playing a powerful cop role.
