Choreographer Jani Master, incarcerated in the sexual assault case involving a female assistant choreographer, received a minor reprieve. The Telangana High Court granted him bail on Thursday in a POCSO case.
Shaik Jani Basha, referred to as Jani Master, was apprehended on allegations of sexually assaulting his assistant. Judge Justice Juvvadi Sridevi ordered that Jani Master and his family refrain from disrupting the complainant’s life.
In her accusation, his assistant choreographer asserted that she is a minor and was repeatedly raped by Jani Master.
The National Film Awards committee has suspended the Best Choreography award announced to him for his work to the 2022 film “Thiruchitrambalam” due to this case.
