A Hyderabad court on Thursday granted interim bail to Jani Master, a popular dance choreographer, in a sexual assault case.
Jani Master requested bail in order to attend the next week’s National Film Awards ceremony in Delhi. He won a national award for his dance choreography for the Tamil movie Thiruchitrambalam. So, he sought bail to receive the award, and the court agreed to it and granted bail from October 6 to October 10th.
Jani Master was arrested in a sexual assault case filed by his former associate. She claimed that he sexually harassed and assaulted her multiple times since she joined him as an assistant.
The police registered him last month and took him into custody.
