‘Chandramukhi’ was one of Superstar Rajinikanth’s most famous hits. Chandramukhi was played by Jyothika. A sequel is currently in the works. The multi-lingual film, titled ‘Chandramukhi 2,’ recently began its filming.

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is playing the role of Chandramukhi in this sequel. She predicted that the film would be a huge hit.
Raghava Lawrence is the main hero. Before embarking on this project, he sought Rajinikanth’s blessing. Rajinikanth will not appear in this sequel. The film is directed by P Vasu.
Kangana’s most recent Tamil film, Jayalalithaa’s biopic, was a flop. She does, however, hold a high regard for South Indian filmmakers. So, she is signing films here.
