Nagarjuna Akkineni turned 66 today. On his birthday, fans were eagerly expecting the announcement of his milestone film, #King100—the 100th movie of his acting career. Instead, Nagarjuna chose to meet and greet fans who gathered at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad to wish him on the occasion.
Despite the anticipation, he avoided making any official announcement about his new film, even though both the director and production house have been finalized.
Tamil filmmaker Ra Karthik will direct #King100, and Nagarjuna himself will produce it under the Annapurna Studios banner. The reason for deferring the announcement remains unclear.
Meanwhile, Nagarjuna is gearing up to host the 9th season of the reality show Bigg Boss Telugu, which premieres on September 7, 2025.
This year, the veteran actor appeared in two films: Kuberaa and Coolie. In “Kuberaa,” he played a key supporting role, while “Coolie” showcased him as the antagonist Simon. It has been quite some time since audiences have seen Nagarjuna as the main protagonist on screen.
