‘Adipurush’ is Prabhas’s next epic drama to be made with an estimated budget of Rs 500 crore in multiple languages. The pre-production work is in full swing. Directed by Om Raut and produced by Bhushan Kumar of T Series, ‘Adipurush’ is now finalizing the female lead.
After considering Anushka Sharma and Kiara Advani, the makers have finally zeroed in on Kriti Sanon. If reports in Bollywood are to be believed, Kriti’s name will be announced shortly.
She will essay the role of Sita as Prabhas is set to play the lord Rama and Saif Ali Khan has been roped in as Raavana.

The film is based on the epic Ramayana. The shoot might start rolling from January 2021.
Kriti debuted in the film world opposite Mahesh Babu in Sukumar’s ‘1 Nenokkadine’. As the film flopped at the box-office, she shifted her base to Mumbai and continued playing lead roles in Hindi movies. She is currently one of the top league of actresses in Bollywood.

We have to wait for the official confirmation, though. The makers have already announced the film’s release date as August 11, 2022.
