Puri Jagannadh’s ‘Liger’ has been progressing its shoot in Mumbai. Starring Vijay Deverakonda as the lead hero, the boxing drama has so far not shot any scene in Hyderabad. Puri has entirely been filming in Mumbai and surrounding areas.
However, the team has decided to come to Hyderabad for the picturization of some sequences in May. By June, the entire shoot of the film will be wrapped up.
Ananya Panday has been cast opposite Vijay Deverakonda in this film. Ramya Krishna is essaying mother’s role. The post-production work is also underway. An international actor will play an important character in this action drama.
‘Liger’ is Vijay Deverakonda’s first Pan-Indian project with the release in multiple languages that include Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. Karan Johar is presenting the film. Scheduled to hit the screens in September this year, ‘Liger’ is one of the costliest films for a mid-range hero like Vijay Deverakonda.
