Now, the makers of ‘Love Story’ featuring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi have a lot to worry about. They face a threat from OTT-direct releases. The makers of ‘Love Story’ recently announced their theatrical release date as September 10. After announcing the date, it has become clear that Amazon Prime and Disney+Hotstar, the streaming apps are also releasing their new films on September 10th coinciding Ganesh festival.

Amazon Prime Video will premiere Nani’s ‘Tuck Jagadish’ on 10th September as Vinayaka Chaviti special, and Disney+Hot star will premiere Nithin starrer ‘Maestro’ on the same date.

‘Love Story’ producers fear that these films may hamper their prospects at the theatrical window. With people gluing to their TVs and mobile screens at home on the festival date with these new premieres of ‘Tuck Jagadish’ and ‘Maestro’, the openings for ‘Love Story’ will not be massive. That is what the makers fear.

The makers of ‘Love Story’ cannot postpone their date now, as the film got postponed many times. Why announce the date in a hurry and worry later?
