Lucifer remake launched formally

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 153rd movie, a remake of Malayalam blockbuster, was launched formally on Wednesday morning. The Pooja ceremony took place at Supergood film’s office in Film Nagar in Hyderabad.

Directed by Mohan Raja and produced by NV Prasad, Chiranjeevi’s wife Surekha will present the movie. Regular will commence next month.

Director Mohan Raja said the film is not a scene-to-scene remake of ‘Lucifer’. “We took the outline and improvised the story according to Megastar Chiranjeevi’s image,” he said.

Thaman is scoring the music for the first time for a Chiranjeevi starrer. Lakshmi Bhupala pens dialogue.
