The popularity of Mahesh Babu on social media is soaring new heights even though he is away from the work for the past six months. He has now gained a new record on Twitter with a fan following of 10 million.

Mahesh Babu is the is the only South Indian star who has such huge followers on Twitter. No other Telugu star is in the vicinity of his reach on this social media platform.

During this corona crisis, he has regularly been posting messages urging people to wear masks and other precautionary measures to avoid getting the virus. He also thanked frontline warriors in this fight against corona.

Mahesh Babu who scored a massive hit with ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ early this year will commence the shoot of his next outing, ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’, once the corona crisis ends.
