Makers: Come with an open mind to experience ‘Rao Bahadur’

Ahead of the worldwide release of “Rao Bahadur” on July 3, director Venkatesh Maha and the film’s team urged audiences to watch the psychological drama with an open mind, promising a unique cinematic experience unlike anything seen before in Telugu cinema.

Calling the film “spectacular,” Venkatesh Maha said, “If you bring grand locations, massive visuals and epic moments into a single room, that is ‘Rao Bahadur’.”

Lead actor Satyadev described it as a film unlike any other made in Telugu. “Even Mahesh Babu garu said this is a never-before-seen Telugu film,” he remarked.

Producer Anurag Reddy added that “Rao Bahadur” explores a genre rarely attempted in Telugu cinema and offers a completely fresh experience.

Venkatesh Maha stressed that the film is an entirely original work with no cinematic references or inspirations. “I request everyone to watch the film with an open mind. It will make you laugh, surprise you and leave you amazed by its performances and production design,” he said.

Echoing his views, Anurag Reddy asked audiences to avoid preconceived expectations and embrace the film for what it is. “This is a new genre for Telugu audiences, and we believe it will offer a refreshing theatrical experience,” he said. Producer Sarath Chandra requested to avoid spoilers on social media after watching the film.
