Director Nag Ashwin has issued a response about the ongoing controversy over the comments made by Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi against Prabhas. Nag Ashwin, the director of the blockbuster film “Kalki 2898 AD”, expressed in a tweet that it is important for fans and everyone to cease discussing the division between North India and South India. He also cautioned against pitting Bollywood and Tollywood against each other.

He requested everyone to consider the broader perspective of the Indian film business.

The dispute originated when Arshad Warsi expressed his opinion in an interview, stating that he believed Prabhas’ portrayal of the character in “Kalki 2898 AD” resembled that of a joker. He stated his anticipation for Prabhas to embody the characteristics of a Madmax protagonist.

The film “Kalki 2898 AD” is currently available for watching on both Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Since its OTT debut, the film has sparked widespread discussion on social media, with people engaging in conversations regarding its numerous features. In response to the comments, Nag Ashwin expressed that Arshad should have exercised more careful language selection when expressing his opinions.

Nag Ashwin stated that he will present Prabhas in an unprecedented appearance in the sequel of “Kalki 2898 AD” also known as “K2”.

Additionally, he expressed that there is a significant amount of animosity present in the globe, and fans should refrain from contributing to it.

“Too much hate in the world already bro…we can try not to add to it..I know prabhas garu will also feel the same,” he added.
