Nagarjuna Akkineni has shared fresh details about his landmark 100th film during a talk show hosted by Jagapathi Babu. After playing a villain in the recently released “Coolie,” the veteran actor confirmed that he is returning to full-fledged protagonist roles.
The project, tentatively titled #King100, will be directed by Ra Karthik, who earlier made the Tamil film Nitham Oru Vaanam (dubbed into Telugu as Aakasham), starring Ashok Selvan and Ritu Varma.
“Karthik has been working on the script for the past six months. We will be calling it #King100, and it is going to be an out-and-out action entertainer,” Nagarjuna revealed.
Interestingly, Nagarjuna’s recent action films have not fared well, yet he is determined to make his centennial project an action-packed spectacle. The official announcement is expected to arrive on his birthday, August 29.
Alongside “King 100”, Nagarjuna will also be busy hosting Bigg Boss Telugu 9, marking his seventh stint as the show’s host.
