Nandamuri Balakrishna advised extended rest: NBK111 faces delay

Nandamuri Balakrishna is expected to remain away from film shootings for more than a month as he continues to recover from a muscle tear surgery.
According to industry sources, doctors have advised the 66-year-old actor to take complete rest before returning to work. They reportedly believe a longer recovery period will help ensure a full recovery and prevent further complications.
While there has been no official statement regarding his health or recovery timeline, insiders say Balakrishna is unlikely to resume shooting for his ongoing film, NBK111, before September.
The film’s shoot has been temporarily halted, and the makers are expected to announce a revised schedule once the actor is ready to return to the sets.
With the production now on hold, NBK111 is likely to miss its planned release this year. The film is now expected to arrive in theaters in 2027 unless the shooting progresses faster than anticipated after Balakrishna’s return.
Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the yet-to-be-titled film stars Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead.
