Telugu actors prefer playing cop roles to gain mass image. But the latest trend is playing IAS officers. We have seen Sai Tej appearing as a collector in director Deva Katta’s ‘Republic’. Ram Charan will be seen as a Civil Services officer in director Shankar’s magnum opus.
The latest to join the trend is Nithiin. He plays N Siddharth Reddy, the district collector of Guntur district, in the upcoming action-drama ‘Macherla Niyojakavargam’.
The film’s shoot is in progress. Editor SR Sekhar aka MS Raja Shekhar Reddy debuts as the director with this film, and it is being produced by Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy.
The film look will be dropped on March 26th. Krithi Shetty and Catherine Tresa are paired up with Nithiin.
