‘Acharya’ is a mega multi-starrer. Chiranjeevi had earlier played guest roles in Ram Charan’s movies, but this is the first time that the father-son duo sharing screen space in full-length roles.
Directed by Koratala Siva, ‘Acharya’ is now in the post-production stage. The film will hit the screens on February 4, 2022, as planned. There is no change in the release plans. Amidst the rumors that the film would be postponed again, here comes the clarity.
Chiranjeevi plays the titular character, while Ram Charan plays Siddha, a student leader with a leftist ideology. Pooja Hegde is his female companion.
Kajal Aggarwal has been paired opposite Chiranjeevi. Produced by Niranjan Reddy and composed by Mani Sharma, ‘Acharya’ unveiled two songs and three teasers. The film’s pre-release event will be held next month.
