NTR’s mother, Shalini, was born and raised in Karnataka. After marrying Nandamuri Harikrishna, she made Hyderabad her home. Her dream was to take her son NTR, a superstar known as ‘Man of Masses’, to her home town and show the places she grew up.
Finally, NTR, after all these years, made her mother’s wish fulfilled. Along with his wife Lakshmi Pranathi, NTR visited Kundapura, a coastal town situated in the Udupi district in Karnataka, and offered prayers at Srikrishna Math in Udipi.
He took to social media to share the pictures of this visit.
“My mother’s forever dream of bringing me to her hometown Kundapura and seeking darshan at Udupi Sri Krishna Matha has finally come true! To make it happen just before her birthday on September 2nd is the best gift I could give her,” he wrote.
In the pictures, we can also see ‘Kantara’ fame Rishabh Shetty and director Prashanth Neel accompanying him and having meals at Temple premises. He thanked Rishab Shetty for helping him out in this tour.
