NTR's showtime begins

The mandatory line at the pre-release event of ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ was this: The Dasara festivities will begin right from September 21. To be precise, right from the moment NTR’s three introduction scenes (one each for Jai, Lava and Kusa) takes place in the film’s earliest benefit shows! The theatrical trailer presents Jai as the film’s USP. The stammering negative-minded, Ravana-hailing guy is domineering with his screen presence. No wonder that he is winning all-round praise.

Mass entertainment is promised not just by Jai’s character but also that of Kusa, the naughty NTR. Lest we think only Jai is the film’s sole strength, the makers have said that all the three characters are equally important. And, to put it in Kona Venkat’s words, each character represents a trait of NTR. ‘N’ stands for Naughty, like Kusa. ‘T’ means Terror, manifested by Jai. And ‘R’ means Reliable, much like Lava is! This is Kona Venkat doing a Venkaiah Naidu.

Director Bobby has credited Chota K Naidu with completing the film on time with a lot of dexterity. So, the cinematography is going to rock it. And Devi Sri Prasad’s RR, the makers say, is wow.
