Bollywood star Kriti Sanon has carved a successful path in the film industry, but her sister Nupur Sanon has had a more turbulent journey. Nupur made her acting debut in Telugu cinema opposite Ravi Teja in “Tiger Nageswara Rao.” However, the film failed at the box office, and her acting career didn’t gain much traction. She was also replaced by Preity Mukundhan in “Kannappa,” despite having shot for the project for a few days.
Shifting her focus from acting, Nupur recently ventured into fashion entrepreneurship with the launch of her clothing label Nobo. However, the brand has drawn severe criticism online, with netizens slamming it for its steep pricing and reportedly subpar quality.
Many users have taken to social media, mocking the brand for offering clothes priced between Rs 20,000 and Rs 30,000 while lacking originality and craftsmanship.
Kriti Sanon, who has publicly supported and endorsed her sister’s brand, has also been dragged into the backlash. Critics accuse the sisters of leveraging Kriti’s fame to promote overpriced, inferior-quality clothing.
As of now, neither Nupur nor Kriti Sanon has responded to the growing criticism.
