Paradha Trailer: Anupama Parameswaran in a raw, deglam role

The trailer of “Paradha,” starring Anupama Parameswaran, is out, with Ram Pothineni unveiling it at an event today.

The story follows Subbu (Anupama), a young woman stifled by the patriarchal norms of her village. Determined to escape, she leaves everything behind and embarks on a new journey. Along the way, Darshana Rajendran and Sangitha’s characters join her, but her sudden disappearance sets off a chain of unexpected events.

The trailer offers a compelling glimpse into this raw drama.

Anupama, in a completely deglam village-belle avatar, delivers a convincing performance. Darshana Rajendran and Sangitha add depth, while Rag Mayur takes on the male lead.

Director Praveen Kandregula brings realistic style to the narrative, and Gopi Sundar’s stirring background score amplifies the mood.

After a long wait in production, “Paradha” is finally set for release on August 22nd.
