Ram Charan made his debut with “Chirutha,” directed by Puri Jagannadh, which was released on September 28, 2007. He is currently working on “Peddi,” directed by Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame.
To mark 18 years of Ram Charan’s acting career, the team unveiled a brand-new poster today. In it, he stands on a railway track, with a backpack slung over his shoulder and a beedi between his fingers. The poster showcases Ram Charan in a rugged, massy avatar. He plays a sportsman from a rural background, with a tough and intense persona.
The latest poster is a clear reflection of the character Ram Charan portrays in the film.
Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru of Vriddhi Cinemas and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, “Peddi” is being mounted on a massive scale.
A.R. Rahman is scoring the music. Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead, while Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu Sharma appear in key roles. “Peddi” is slated for a theatrical release on March 27, 2026, coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday.
