Following a succession of failures in 2022, her career declined, resulting in only one release in 2023, and she was unable to secure any film roles for about a year.
However, in recent months, fortune favored her, leading to an unexpected surge in offers. She started signing films in Hindi and Tamil extensively. Pooja Hegde will possess a formidable roster in 2025.
In “Retro,” featuring Suriya, she portrays a conventional Tamil woman. ‘Thalpathy69’ depicts her as Vijay’s romantic interest. These two major films will release in the first half of 2025.
Likewise, she will make her significant re-entry in Bollywood with the Hindi film “Deva,” starring Shahid Kapoor. Pooja Hegde has recently signed up for “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai” alongside Varun Dhawan. These four films are currently under production. She is also in negotiations for an additional Bollywood feature.
