The Telugu remake of ‘Lucifer’ will be launched shortly. Megastar Chiranjeevi will reprise Mohanlal’s role in Telugu, and actor Satya Dev will appear in an important character.

Director Mohan Raja is now in talks with several actors to complete the casting process. Sources inform us that he has approached Priyamani to play the role of sister to Chiranjeevi. In the original film, Manju Warrier has done it.
Priyamani has never paired up with Chiranjeevi until now. Known for fierce acting skills, she is currently acting opposite Venkatesh in ‘Naarappa’.
However, the makers have not signed her officially yet.
The film also needs two more male stars – to play a young CM’s role, and for an admirer of Chiranjeevi.
