The team of ‘Pushpa’ is finally opening up about splitting the movie into two parts. Ravi, one of the producers of ‘Pushpa’, told the media that the film would indeed be released in two parts and the second part will release in 2022.
He has confirmed that director Sukumar agreed to this suggestion and he is rewriting the script accordingly. Sukumar will now focus on the first part of ‘Pushpa’, which is expected to release by end of this year.
Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Rakta Charitra’, Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ and NTR Biopic were the other Telugu films that were released in two parts.
‘Pushpa’ is an action thriller set in the backdrop of a forest where smugglers of red sanders rule the roost. Allu Arjun plays Pushparaj, a transporter of red sanders. Malayalam actor Fahadh Faazil is playing a key role. Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine.
