Prolific director Puri Jagannadh has completed two decades of filmmaking. In the last 20 years, he had directed 37 films. His debut film was Pawan Kalyan starrer ‘Badri’ and his recent movie was blockbuster ‘iSmart Shankar’. ‘Badri’ was released on April 20, 2000.
‘Idiot’, ‘Pokiri’, ‘Desamuduru’, and ‘Shivamani’ were some of his blockbusters. He is known for new body language to the stars. He had transformed the biggest stars of Tollywood. He also directed Ram Charan’s maiden movie ‘Chirutha’. Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Ravi Teja, NTR, Allu Arjun, Nagarjuna, Balakrishna, Ram, Rana, Nithin, and Varun Tej… all had acted under his direction. He also directed Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Buddha Hoga Teri Baap’.
At present, he is directing a boxing drama in five languages with Vijay Deverakonda as the hero.

Bollywood producer-director Karan Johar who is co-producing Vijay Deverakonda’s movie also congratulated Puri. “Congratulations Puri Sir! Tremendous love and respect for your blockbuster journey!” he wished.
