Rajinikanth’s Coolie: 70 percent of shooting completed

Superstar Rajinikanth has been working on “Coolie,” under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film’s shooting will now take place in Thailand.

Rajinikanth spoke to the media at the airport and revealed the film has already completed 70 percent of the shooting. “Around 70 percent of the filming got completed,” Rajinikanth told the media when asked about the status.

The next shooting schedule takes place in Thailand from January 13 to January 28, 2025.

“Coolie” is a highly anticipated film, marking the first partnership between Rajinikanth and filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for his successful blockbusters such as “Khaidi,” “Vikram,” and “Leo.”

“Coolie” is slated for release in May 2025. The film also features Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Upendra in key roles. Shruti Haasan appears as the main actress.
