Rajinikanth is currently starring in the film “Jailer.” Nelson Dilip Kumar of “Beast” and “Don” fame is directing the film. “Jailer” was supposed to be released in April, but it was pushed back. And today, the makers revealed a new release date.
“Jailer” will be released in all languages on August 10th.
Aside from Rajinikanth, the film stars Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jackie Shroff. Our Telugu actor Sunil also plays an important role. Tamannaah Bhatia is the female lead.
The makers chose this date to capitalize on the Independence Day holiday. However, Megatar Chiranjeevi’s “Bholaa Shankar” will be released at the same time. So, it will have to compete with Chiranjeevi’s film in Telugu markets.
To announce the date, the makers also released a video glimpse from the film.
