Rakul Preet Singh has got a huge relief with Rhea Chakraborty coming out of jail. Bombay high court granted Rhea bail. She is now back to her home in Mumbai.
Rakul was also questioned by NCB officials in connection with Rhea’s cast a few days ago. Speculations were rife that she would be called in for questioning again. But now, the case seems to be petering out. As per the Bombay High Court judge’s observations, NCB didn’t find any role of Rhea in the drug supply chain. Although bail cannot be considered as an acquittal, the analysts say NCB has a weak case on their hands.
Rakul and other actresses who were called in for questioning can now lead a normal life without worrying about further vilification.
Rakul is now shooting for director Krish’s Telugu film. Lately, she is using Twitter for the promotion of her movies but she continues to be inactive on Instagram.
