Both Ram Charan and NTR have big plans. They have lined up many movies, which will be released simultaneously in multiple languages. One of the prime reasons for playing together in Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ was that they wanted to achieve pan-India appeal.
The Hindi version of ‘RRR’ started on a slow note at the box office, but it picked up later.
Now, they are working more on gaining publicity in Bollywood media outlets and national channels. Through all means, the PR agencies are pushing Ram Charan and NTR in the North Indian market. The stars have built this ‘promotion’ for their star image and brand value, which will help for their next movies.
Ram Charan will next be seen in director Shankar’s mega-budgeted pan-India project being produced by Dil Raju. The film is also being produced on a lavish scale. Shankar is one of the directors in India with a nationwide craze. So, Ram Charan – Shankar’s movie will reap benefits if Ram Charan gains more publicity and promotion.
The actor also made a surprise theater visit in Mumbai on Sunday. This is all part of self-promotion.
Meanwhile, NTR is giving interviews to Mumbai critics and journalists. He is interacting with them. He will begin shooting for Koratala Siva’s next film shortly. After that, he will take up Prashanth Neel’s movie. Both these are going to be made as pan-India projects.
