Ramesh Varma, celebrated for his knack for spotting fresh talent, has launched his new production house, RV Film House, with the aim of nurturing emerging filmmakers. The banner’s maiden venture is titled “Kokkoroko”, an anthology film that brings together five distinct stories.
Marking the directorial debut of Srinivas Vasanthala, the project was formally launched today with a pooja ceremony.
For the muhurtham shot, producer Rekha Varma sounded the clapboard, while Kurapati Sireesha switched on the camera. Ramesh Varma personally handed over the script to debut director Srinivas Vasanthala, symbolizing his confidence in the young filmmaker’s vision.
Carrying forward his family legacy, playback singer GV Sagar—son of veteran writer G. Satyamurthy and brother of music director Devi Sri Prasad—has been entrusted with writing the dialogues. This marks his second film as a writer after Rakshasudu.
The project is jointly produced by Rekha Varma and Kurapati Sireesha, with Neelladri Production joining as co-producer.
