Ram’s Red to be remade in Bollywood

Ram Pothineni starrer ‘Red’ hit the screens this Sankranthi. The film was an average grosser at the box office. Despite the underperformance of the movie, Bollywood makers are remaking the same subject in Hindi.

Aditya Roy Kapoor will act in the Bollywood version. Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani are bankrolling the Hindi version. The remake was announced today. Debutant director Vardhan Ketkar will handle it.

‘Red’ is also remade from Tamil hit thriller, Thadam. So, now the Bollywood makers will be faithfully remaking the Tamil version.

Meanwhile, Ram is acting in an action drama directed by Lingusaamy.
