Ravi Teja’s Mass Jathara, which was scheduled for release on August 27th during the Ganesh festival, may now be pushed to September.
The delay is reportedly due to an unfinished song shoot. With the ongoing strike by Tollywood employees, the team has been unable to film it. In addition, a few portions need to be reshot. The recently released song also faced heavy trolling for its “oora mass” lyrics, prompting the makers to consider changes.
Given these factors, Sithara Entertainments is keen to make improvements and release the film in a better way. A final decision is expected after this weekend.
Mass Jathara features Ravi Teja as a cop and Sreeleela as a student. Directed by Bhanu Bhogavarapu, the film marks the writer’s directorial debut.
