Release of ‘Kaantha’ postponed indefinitely
Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media and Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films are jointly producing the highly anticipated film “Kaantha”, directed by Selvamani Selvaraj. The movie stars Dulquer Salmaan, Bhagyashri Borse, and Samuthirakani in the lead roles.
The release of “Kaantha” has now been postponed indefinitely. In an official statement, the producers explained that following the massive success of Kalyani Priyadarshan starrer “Lokha Chapter 1”, which was produced by Dulquer Salmaan, they have decided to give the film more time and space to maximize its impact.
As a result, the release of “Kaantha” has been rescheduled, with a new release date yet to be announced.
Set against the backdrop of 1950s Madras, “Kaantha” delves into the complexities of human relationships and societal transformation during a pivotal era in history.
