Reopening of Cinema Halls: Old movies to be played

The theaters in Telangana are all set to be reopened from next week. In Andhra Pradesh, theaters in some districts are planning to reopen for Dussera. From Deepavali, all theaters will get back to normal business.

Since no new releases have lined up, the exhibitors are planning to play movies like ‘Bheeshma’, ‘Jaanu’, ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’, and other movies that were released early this year. The multiplexes are going to depend on the new releases of Hindi and Hollywood movies.

The exhibitors want to use this period to test themselves in implementing COVID19 safety protocols. Hence, they are not looking for collections at this moment. Getting back to the business slowly is an important thing for them.
