Danayya, producer of the current biggest movie on the sets ‘RRR’, announced a donation of Rs 10 lakh to the daily wage workers who have lost their income source due to the halting of shootings. To help these workers, the Telugu film industry has instituted a charity fund named ‘Corona Crisis Charity’. Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, NTR, Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, and other stars had donated generously. Several top producers too had given their financial contribution.
“Our industry depends on several individuals who work hard every day to make our visions a reality. We’d like to do our bit to support them via the great initiative #CoronaCrisisCharity by contributing an amount of Rs 10 lakhs for the cause,” DVV Entertainments owned by DVV Danayya tweeted.
