The filming for “Salaar 2” is set to begin later this month. Here are some exclusive details about this film, which stars Prabhas as the lead hero, Prithviraj Sukumaran as Prabhas’ friend turned foe, Shruti Haasan as the film’s heroine, and Sriya Reddy in a key role.
Unlike popular belief, Prashanth Neel and producer Vijay Kirangadur are not spending a fortune on this project. Neel has devised a strategy that allows him to achieve the best results with a regular budget.
Prashanth Neel will also aim to complete the entire production in five months. However, it remains to be seen whether he will be able to complete the shooting within six months.
But one thing is certain: “Salaar 2” will open in theaters in April 2025.
Prabhas has also agreed to perform some action stunts on his own rather than relying solely on body doubles, as he did for the first part of “Salaar”. He had previously been unable to perform action stunts due to knee pain. Prabhas has regained energy and is eager to perform action scenes now that the surgery has been completed successfully.
There will be one romantic duet between Prabhas and Shruti Haasan, as well as the previously missed romance. The deception and plot twists reminiscent of ‘Game of Thrones’ will also be a highlight.
