Salaar’s fights are not in regular format: Prashanth Neel

According to director Prashanth Neel, the action sequences and fights in “Salaar” will be unlike those seen in other films. He also stated emphatically that it is not a rehash of “KGF” stunts.

The film, which stars Prabhas as the hero and Prithviraj Sukumar as Prabhas’s friend turned foe, is about friendship.

“What drives the film is its emotional component. The action stunts convey the same emotion. Hence, you won’t find fights for the sake of action. The action sequences are not only large-scale, but they also drive the story and emotional aspect,” Prashanth Neel explained.

“Prabhas is a great star. People have seen him in roles that were larger than life. I wrote this script with that in mind. Both Prabhas and Prithviraj play fantastic roles, and their friendship and bond carry the film,” he says.

Prashanth Neel also stated that the universe in which the film is set is very different from the universe in which “KGF” is set, and there is no comparison or similarity.
