Finally, producer Dil Raju has managed to pull off a mega combination. Director Shankar and Ram Charan are going to team up, thanks to the persistence of Dil Raju. The deal is underway. The formal announcement is expected to come shortly.
Dil Raju was to produce ‘Bharateeyudu 2’ aka ‘Indian 2’ in the combination of Shankar and Kamal Haasan but he backed off for various reasons. It was then Lyca Productions came on board to produce it. However, the film’s shoot has been stalled for the last year. Kamal Haasan is busy with his political party activities. So, Shankar has been looking to move on from this project and take up a new film.
It is then Dil Raju has stepped in and made his moves. The leading producer is currently in Chennai to seal the deal with Shankar.
If everything goes smooth, Ram Charan and director Gowtam Tinnanuri’s proposed film will be put on the backburner. Ram Charan will completely focus on Shankar’s film after completing the shoots of ‘Acharya’ and ‘RRR’.
Dil Raju has also been looking to put a big project on the sets.
